How it works

Four questions, answered in plain words. That's the whole of it. What comes back isn't a story with their name dropped in, it's a story built around them.

How it works

Four questions, answered in plain words. That's the whole of it. What comes back isn't a story with their name dropped in, it's a story built around them.

Begin the tale

IT HOLDS TOGETHER

ONE LOOK. ONE VOICE.

Choose the art style and the narrator before a word is written, and the whole book holds to them. Six of each, so the book on Charlotte isn't the book on anybody else's.

Six art styles, from paper cut to night tones

Every page drawn in the same hand. Warm watercolour for gentler worlds. Bold linework for adventure. Deep palette for bedtime tales. The style you pick at the start runs cover to cover.

Six voices, warm and slow through to bright and quick

Some stories need a voice that lingers. Others race ahead. Pick the narrator that suits the child and the mood you're building. Once it's set, the whole thing holds that rhythm.

Change the voice later without rewriting a word

Decided you want it calmer, or livelier? Swap the narrator and the story reshapes itself around the new voice. Same plot. Same world. Different telling.

WHY IT LANDS

THEY SIT UP WHEN IT'S THEIRS.

A child listening to a story about someone else drifts off. Put their name on page one, the friend they picked beside them, and they lean in. They start guessing what happens. They ask for it again tomorrow.

They spot themselves on page one

Not a placeholder name. Not a stock character who could be anyone. A hero who shares their world, their traits, the details that make them recognisable.

They argue about what happens next

When a story reflects their choices and the people they know, they lean in. They debate the twist. They want a say in where it goes from here.

They ask for it again tomorrow

Books built around them don't sit on the shelf gathering dust. They get pulled out, reread, requested. Because it's not just any story, it's theirs.

THE FOUR ANSWERS

Everything the book needs to know.

01

Who it's for

Their name, their age, and what makes them them.

Give us the child at the heart of it. Tell us what they love, what makes them laugh, what they're curious about right now. The story shapes itself around who they are.

02

The world

Where it happens, who walks beside them, and the note the last page lands on.

Set the scene. Choose the companions. Decide whether this one ends with triumph, discovery, or something gentler. The world bends to what you build.

03

What they look like

Describe their features and the hero starts to look like them.

Hair colour, glasses, the jumper they won't take off, small details that make the illustrations feel like they're looking at someone familiar.

04

How it sounds

Pick the voice that carries the telling.

Match the narrator to the moment. Bedtime stories earn a slower, softer voice. Morning adventures can rush ahead. You choose the pace.

Frequently asked questions

What does a token buy?

Tokens are what a book is made with. A Bronze pack covers around two to three storybooks, Silver around six to seven. You spend them one book at a time.

How personal does it get?

Their name, their age, the characters beside them and the world it happens in. Tell us what they look like and the hero starts to look like them.

Can I change a story once it's written?

Yes. Go back through any of the four answers, change what you want, and write it again.

Where does the finished book live?

In your account, ready to read on screen or download. Every story you create stays saved unless you choose to delete it.

How long does it take to generate a story?

A few minutes from the moment you finish answering the four questions. You'll see it building in real time.

Can I share the stories I create?

Yes. Download them, print them, read them together. They're yours to keep and share however you like.
